How Long Was Did I Have Trich

Barbara Ogrodowska" Traditions Polish table "

admit that the book you Ogrodowski left me in dismay.

Traditions Polish table the second item with an interesting series saved from oblivion, after which I was able to reach. Some time ago I got acquainted with Polish folk art Alice Mironiuk Nikolski (review here.) During the reading I had some reservations and thought that it is the specifics of this one position. But it turned out that it is not that also in this case, the book is not error-free, as all the more surprising that - as I read the back of the pub - Barbara Ogrodowska is a polished with the world of publishing, because Traditions Polish table are probably the Thirteenth it is published.

subject is very interesting and substantive issue I have no major reservations. The book is divided into several sections devoted to food products (cereals, vegetables, fruits, herbs, mushrooms, honey, meat, fish, milk), everyday life and festive traditions of the Polish table (very interesting is the chapter on cooking and kitchen with Lent in times of famine), and piśmiennictwu earlier on Polish cuisine. The chapters, in addition to the theory, including the practical in the form of the traditional Polish and regional dishes. With the help of the author's alone so we can do mazowieckie jays, various noodles, cook meat in many ways to bake a cake or other Sękacz (even with the dozen eggs!), And brewing beer.

While reading an interesting topic was heavy. Interfere with what I encountered move punctuation errors, which in times of complex sentences, and tiresome to be able to effectively slowed down the reading. I did not understand a division into paragraphs - at times, that every sentence began from the next paragraph, even when starting from the conjunctions (eg because), and therefore not included in the new thread. In addition, I found spelling mistakes (small and inconsistent use of capital letters or two different dates relating to the same event). Perhaps picking up, but the recipe for ice cream according to the information contained in the book of clippings from newspapers and guides, store (1920-1939) by the Author . There would be nothing strange, if not the fact that Barbara Ogrodowska born only in 1968. The last of an issue that caught my attention, is a footnote to a passage the author of Pan Tadeusz , explaining skowrod as a pot. I associated the word with the Russian name of the frying pan ( сковородка) and actually, after checking on several web portals *, it appeared that skowrody it pans without handles, while pot is a vessel of the type of pot with handles.

I can only express the hope that other publications in the series will be carefully made - in a layer of content, because visually I have nothing to reproach. If you know the world of publishing, we are happy to find out what is the responsibility of an editor and proofreader, I wonder why the book is the way it is, and the same answers to my questions I will know not:)
