Taiga
Taiga is the northernmost forest environment of Eurasia and North America natural vegetation in the relatively cool climate, its area dominated by short but warm summers (up to +30 ° C) and long, cold winters (with periods below -30 ° C). Not much precipitation (200-500 mm per year). Vegetation is easier than in the tundra, which borders it to the north, but the living conditions of plants and animals are strict. In the forests of conifers: pine, spruce, fir, Swiss pine and larch. Coexist: birch, poplar, aspen, alder and willow. Dense forest undergrowth lacks (shrubs and herbaceous plants). Fauna is relatively poor in species, though the environment is able to feed the populations of big fish.
