Debutante .speeches Example

marriage past and present that is meeting with Agnieszka Lisak

Eighth March as part of the Literary Salon (Joint fashionable Krakow and Cellar Under the Rams) held a meeting with Agnieszka Lisak, author of Love old Polish and Love, woman, and marriage in the nineteenth century .

Female nineteenth century is most often associated with careless with the logs and the beautiful, expensive dresses, and the whole era of appears to be fossilized and pruderyjna. Nothing could be more misleading! Agnieszka Lisak, writing his second book, aimed at overthrowing the stereotype and image of our ancestors from the pedestals. It turns out that the nineteenth century is the age of hypocrisy and double standards. In the world of men, there was freedom of manners - they betrayed their wives with actresses and prostitutes, but women also miewały their spicy secrets, and no less scandalous sins on his conscience - with the difference that their actions were not made public. You have to admit that the woman was much heavier force than man. You do not have to take part in the great expectations, the only career that could do it right to marry - k unmarried promises were not worth anything, which aptly captures the Orzeszkowa: woman is zero, if a man does not become next to it as complementary digit . Education they gained, it was impractical. Playing an instrument or calligraphy nohow not translate to the obligations that were incumbent on the woman after marriage, with the result that she could not keep the household, to count money (Which to the knowledge about the world at that time, women are ... a gift from God!), Not to mention the ignorance of the mysteries of the alcove, with the result that the young wives after the marriage fell into dismay.

During the meeting, leading James Wajdzik tried to provoke the audience for discussion, but sometimes it looked artificial, and some questions I associated with a school polling students, such as speech synthesis question Agnieszka Lisak, what's the difference between marriage in the nineteenth century and today. Although this meeting I think is very interesting and successful.

I regret that I discovered just Literary Salon at the eighth meeting, because I missed a meeting with overseas-Przyłuska Eve, Michael crushed, Slawomir dill and Andrzej Koziol. However, I hope that the initiative will not end after the quarter (as of today the schedule is written out only the first three months of this year.).

How Long Should A Cough Last After Laryngitis

Elizabeth Zarych "Tales of happiness, misfortune and what is most important in life"

Tales of happiness, misfortune and what is most important in life is a collection of 51 stories from around the world. Their common denominator is the theme - each with a tale concerns what in life is the greatest value. So we have tales of kindness (Land three curves lemons, Child and pumpkin tree ), wisdom (who is the smartest ), love (love Two ) and industry ( Leń Heczo ). There is also a fairy tale-reflection on the very essence of happiness: what it is and where it is located ( Treasury at the end of the rainbow , Where happiness lives , Does happiness comes from God ). Some tales were surprising to me, like sisters Heart, the story of a girl who outwitted the Reverend Moiras and spared his brother before the intended purpose, which until now seemed unlikely. Me, lover of birds, most captivated by the last tale - trees and birds - a beautiful story about what influenced the appearance and physical characteristics of some bird species, including cuckoos and "beloved" kiwi.

texts are structured in terms of continent of origin. There are different theme, which is a huge plus anthologies. Fairytales short, almost perfect for reading to your child. An even greater advantage is the beauty of graphic design publications. The texts are enriched by beautiful and very colorful collages of the author, in which Elizabeth Zarych used paper, gałganki, ribbons, fringe, buttons, an unusual shape, and beads. It is worth noting that each chapter is illustrated with embroidery - contour map of the continent politically, from which the tales contained in it! As much fun to have in your bookcase just released position.

with a clear conscience recommend!

Deworming Medicine In Dogs

Offshore-Przyłuska 'literary Guide to Krakow and the Malopolska province, "Renata

Wr óciłam, after almost a month break! Sometimes it happens that I fall into a black hole - clutter responsibilities (work, do), and this heavy reading - and disappear for many days. Now, coming back and I have to tell you a lot. Some read books waiting to reviewed, and the two events are demanding a relationship. To work then.

are books that can not be read in sequence, and such undoubtedly is Literary Guide Krakow and the Malopolska province . Not because the publication is not interesting, but because of their characteristics, which suggests even the title. In my life I tried to read the guides, perhaps four, but had not read in its entirety, because it was boring for me to read the dry facts, not having the eyes of description of space or more. So it was at times, and during the reading.

Guide to Literary ... is the fruit of several years of work-Przyłuskiej Overseas Eve and I must admit that the accumulated material is extremely rich and diverse. Messages are ordered in concentric - journey begins in Krakow's Old Town and is gradually moving away from him, traversing the streets Dębnik, Bronowice and Nowa Huta, to finally find themselves in closer (Krzeszowice, the Fathers) and a further area City (Podhale, Pieniny, Low Beskid.) Any place that has been mentioned in a publication, is illustrated by an appropriate quote from numerous sources writing (fiction, letters, reports) and was marked on the map. It is an invitation to the reader followed the footsteps of the creators of literature or created images of their heroes.

Finally, I wish to share what I most interested - the person Bögli ropes, Swiss teacher, who in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century was a lonely Travel around the world, and a few years later, the Far East. The fruits of these expeditions are books Avanti. Lists of the trip around the world and Always ahead , unfortunately not reprinted in Poland.
